Device and platform requirements¶
AR applications created in EV Toolbox can be launched on various platforms (depending on the version of the toolkit).

AR applications created in EV Toolbox can be run on Epson Moverio augmented reality glasses (depending on the version of the toolkit).

Note
Actual performance will depend on the complexity of the project and may vary for different mobile devices.
Note
Mobile platforms require GLES version 3, however while version 2 is currently supported it may be ceased in future releases without prior notice.

Work with wired VR helmets¶
To work with wired VR headsets, you need to download and install additional software on your PC:
SteamVR — это инструмент для использования виртуальной реальности с различными проводными VR гарнитурами. Тестирование и работа VR проектов, созданных в EV Toolbox для стационарных ПК и проводных VR шлемов возможна только с использованием данного ПО.

To work with wired VR headsets, your PC must meet certain system requirements. You can learn more about such system requirements on the official website of your HMD manufacturer:
VR headset manufacturers provide users with tools (special applications) to check if the HMD is copmatible with Windows OS computer. You can download such an application from the official website of the manufacturer of your helmet:

В мае 2020 года компания Valve объявила о прекращении поддержки своей платформы виртуальной реальности SteamVR для пользователей macOS ввиду малого количества пользователей Steam с платформы macOS.
Пользователи macOS могут работать с платформой SteamVR, запуская ее приложения в Windows через Parallels Desktop или VMware Fusion. Также в режиме бета-тестирования пользователи macOS могут использовать устаревшие версии сборок платформы SteamVR, в которых нет новых изменений от Valve.
