Welcome remote gesture control, a truly unique way to control 3D presentations!
What is gesture control?
Gesture control means creating individual 3D presentations using Kinect game console and EligoVision software.
Microsoft Kinect gaming console hit the shelves in late 2010 and was a great success in the presentation technologies market.
Today, EligoVision is happy to offer you a new service — creating dynamic 3D presentations with various content and truly innovative control system.
You can control them with simple gestures — no need to buy and master any special tools! It is pretty comfortable for the presenter and the audience indeed!
Kinect wireless controller works quite well at exhibition stands, on big stages, in press rooms, lecture halls and any other crowded areas. The new system makes your event more inclusive and entertaining by easily getting visitors involved into your 3D action.
Besides, Kinect can be seamlessly integrated into all of your 3D presentations!
Example: Kinect for the Autodesk Forum 2011
In autumn 2011 during the Autodesk Forum EligoVision showcased its new projects based on Kinect gaming console and EV Environment.
Watch our video below to see Kinect console in action. You will see our cute 3D orangutan-robot mimicking the user as well as a 3D model of a multistorey building that can be explored in full detail from every perspective with a simple hand move. Besides, you can change its construction by removing floors.
Please mind the camera signal window in the lower left corner. It shows all movements and gestures of the user.
What do I need to run a Kinect presentation?
All you need to control 3D Kinect-based presentations is… your own body! Special software «reads» the camera signal, performs full 3D scanning of your body movements and links them to your 3D presentation.
You can use gesture control to
select 2D and 3D objects in the menu;
turn 3D models in every direction;
pan and zoom 3D models;
control your 3D avatars’ movements etc.
Populate your 3D presentation with the models and scenarios of your choice.
How to choose a surface
You can view gesture controlled presentations on various 2D and 3D installations using common monitors, displays and big projection screens.
Glasses-based and glasses-free 3D displays are the best choice for exhibitions and large lecture halls since they can ensure an impressive 3D effect.
We have vast experience in creating 3D graphics and adjusting it to different kinds of stereo installations. We can make your 3D Kinect-based presentation work on
You will certainly love watching and playing with it!
